Starting in early March, we’ve been doing livestreams every day to show new arrivals from designers’ collections. It’s become a new way to talk to our customers, and it’s working! It’s been a big step for us, not only for our store, but also for these designers. Livestreams [in general] have become very popular in China—there’s this guy [Li Jiaqi] who hosts a livestream every day to sell lipstick. More than 10 million people watch, and he sells thousands of lipsticks a day, which has really helped brands like L’Oréal. Labelhood and young designers are using the same method to talk to our customers.
